I had the honor of planning Kennedy Jenks’ Annual Marketing Forum that took place last month in beautiful San Diego! This was my 6th marketing forum meeting, and the 2nd that I led the planning and coordination of. I coordinated our stay and meeting space at the Four Points By Sheraton in Little Italy, planned a team bonding scavenger hunt downtown, and coordinated with The City of San Diego Pure Water San Diego Program to tour their North City Reclamation Plant and Demonstration Facility (thank you Madelyn Nye for setting us up! 🐚).Our tight-knit marketing team stretches coast to coast and there really is so much value in our annual in-person meetings to train and learn, bond, and grow as a team. Shoutout to my manager and colleagues who helped put together presentations and assisted me with dinners and final details! Already looking forward to planning next year’s meeting!

Event budget stewardship 📊💡When we spoke toKimberly Wong, CMP, Senior Manager - Field Marketing, Global Events and Experiences at Paddle, seeking insights on mastering event budgets, she offered a golden nugget of advice:🌟"Treat the money as if it's your own."By internalizing this perspective, you'll naturally ask yourself, 'How can I steward this to maximize value for the company?' 💼🔄Here's more on that:

Today, I attended American Marketing Association of Indiana University of Pennsylvania annual panel. Seven industry professionals shared valuable knowledge and advice, including those from PPG Paints, Steelers, UPMC, American Eagle and business owners. Thank you to all the marketing panelists who took the time to visit. Also, thank you to Kira Wertz for organizing this amazing event. I’m extremely grateful to hear from these professionals.Reflecting on all the insights today, here are some key takeaways:-Saying yes to opportunities opens doors to new experiences, learning and personal growth.-Embrace continuous learning and be a sponge to information.-Being told no can be discouraging. However, you can turn a “no” or rejection into a stepping stone toward success and personal development.-Marketing is constantly evolving; embrace change and be adaptable.

Question for the senior living operators, sales teams, and investors out there: what do you think about the idea of contracting out quarterly or 30-60-90 day marketing plans to a third party if that third party can also implement day of event coordination/setup/takedown for ALF marketing events? Do you think the idea would be beneficial in keeping sales in the selling zone or a waste of budgeted dollars?

This is what the Podium Package is all about! 👇 👇 👇 👇 👇 What did the race organizers and staff do when multiple media outlets showed up during the critical moments before and during the race? Nothing...because Treat PR was there to handle it all for them!!!There was no need to stop those last-minute preparations or important conversations with volunteers, vendors, and emergency services. Road cones and barricades kept going up. Participants headed out onto the race course. We didn't bother our clients with anything but quick check-ins to see if they were all good.Yes, the podium package includes all the key items we know lead to a successful, full-size PR campaign for your endurance event. Press releases, pitches, media guides...the works! The most interesting deliverable and the one that will make race day a true breeze? In-person media management and support on race day. Collection of content onsite in the event a certain source can't attend, but still wants to cover it.Is it vital that we be there for you to get coverage on race day? No. Is it something that will make your life a whole lot easier as the race director? You better believe it.A huge congrats to our client on another successful race weekend! Big shoutout to Anna Gimre whose top-notch media relations work led to the excellent problem of multiple outlets showing up all at once. 🙌
