    San Francisco creative agency, Tolleson, was asked by premium furniture company, Coalesse, to portray "The New Work Day" in a short video. Together, Tolleson and I shot multiple actors at 11 locations in 2 countries to demonstrate how people today are collaborating, contemplating, and socializing.

    Continuing a brand engagement with Gilead, Tolleson turned to a redesign of the biopharmaceutical firm's website. Gilead’s trajectory over the years merited a web revamp to address the depth and complexity of its content and improve accessibility to information directed at its segmented audience. Designed with an updated look and feel aligned with its ongoing branding effort, Gilead’s new site also addressed content management, third-party integration and usability needs.

    Continuing a brand engagement with Gilead, Tolleson turned to a redesign of the biopharmaceutical firm's website. Gilead’s trajectory over the years merited a web revamp to address the depth and complexity of its content and improve accessibility to information directed at its segmented audience. Designed with an updated look and feel aligned with its ongoing branding effort, Gilead’s new site also addressed content management, third-party integration and usability needs.

    To improve navigation and content discovery, the site was redesigned around Gilead’s two primary users – patients and medical professionals. A robust CMS tool was customized and implemented to improve the ease and timeliness of uploading content, and third-party information was integrated and branded to reflect Gilead’s visual language. The new Gilead.com launched with a branded aesthetic and improved content integration, offering its users a richer, more tailored web experience.

    HP’s acquisition of Palm in 2010 significantly increased the company’s presence in one of technology’s fastest growing segments. Its global scale and financial strength plus Palm’s award-winning webOS experience and family of smartphones enhanced HP’s ability to participate more aggressively in the $100 billion mobile device market.

As HP prepared to acquire Palm, we initiated an exploration of these origins and recommended a brand narrative that could live simply and harmoniously with the new parent company.

As HP prepared to acquire Palm, we initiated an exploration of these origins and recommended a brand narrative that could live simply and harmoniously with the new parent company.

    This booklet takes a closer look at the core thinking that inspires how Palm works, Palm’s creative process, and how it puts products out in the world. We managed to express complex OS features with simple visual metaphors and developed a photography style that allows the user personality to stand out despite an over-saturated smartphone market.

The company wanted to launch its next product line with new packaging that would celebrate the uniqueness of real people and align with its value proposition of making people’s lives better at work.

    Retained by Palm as its agency of record, Tolleson became experts at visually telling the webOS story. After HP acquired Palm, we guided the brand all the way through the launch, providing design and development support for HP's internal team, then taking responsibility for migrating palm.com over to HP’s parent site.
